Platform Center is a nonprofit arts facility and incubator that provides subsidized performance, rehearsal, and development spaces for underrepresented artists and creative companies in Chicago.
The organization’s core mission is to restore access to affordable creative space — the most critical missing ingredient in Chicago’s post-pandemic arts ecosystem — and, in doing so, to revitalize the performing arts industry while driving community and economic development.
In short, Platform Center creates space for creativity to flourish — literally and figuratively.
